Learn the history of old St Mary’s church and the surrounding area, complete with a Tower Tour.  Learn useful map skills to navigate around woodland from set start & end points – make it a team challenge!  Led by local writing group members, these are ideal for established writers as well as those who enjoy it as a hobby.  If bush skills isn’t enough, see if you can make it through a survival skills course – includes an outdoor, overnight stay, no matter the weather! Always a favourite, learn what you can and can’t eat from local hedgerows and fields, as well as the ethical way to gather.

Includes a trip to Warden Abbey Vineyard and a wine tasting session led by a master.

Visit Ampthill Brewhouse and learn what goes into making delicious, local ale – and taste some too!

Learn about the art that is growing apple trees, before trying pressing some apples into juice or cider for tasting. A dying art, willow hurdles are used everywhere on site as screens, fences and decorations.  Have a go at making some and keep this countryside art alive.

Indulge in some deserved wellbeing and bring a group together for a Yoga or Pilates day, run by our fantastic teachers.  This can be extended into a weekend.

Visit Bletchley Park – the home of codebreakers during WWII before discussing your spy skills over a meal.

Learn to make a pendant, earrings or a trio of stacker-rings in this hands on workshop. These are available on a variety of themes, from bird watching to pubs!

 Join our experienced local photographer and learn how to get the best from you camera and subject – whatever they may be!
