Ideal for KS1 / 2 & 3 Pupils and meets Science Curriculum and personal skills i.e. team building.

Spend the morning learning how to build a shelter, and why it is the most important thing in the wild! Once built we need to gather wood for the fire and then try to light it with traditional materials.

Students can enjoy their packed lunch around the fire or in their shelters, before heading out to forage!  They will be given an introduction to edible plants and will pick a selection of items to bring back and brew into a herbal tea.

We will finish with some marshmallow treats around the fire.
