Foraging has been a vital part of human survival throughout history and is one of the most rewarding wilderness skills to learn.

Enjoy half a day with our local expert and owner of Dragon’s Kitchen learning the art of foraging, which is not only what you can and shouldn’t eat but also important information on when to collect and how.  Once you have collected your berries, nuts etc. you will return to the Nest and learn how to turn these raw goods into lasting cupboard goodies such as chutney, jam or marmalade.  Recipe cards will be available to take home on the day.

This is a fantastic way to spend a morning and really takes you back to nature; learning a skill that is all too frequently forgotten!

Led around the local area, foraging sessions will obviously vary according to the season.

2.5 hour Foraging Session = £7 per person (Minimum 5 people)

Runs 1st April to 1st October.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
