This year we will be holding a series of guided walks around the beautiful countryside surrounding the village of Clophill.
Each walk has it’s own theme and lasts 2 hours (12 – 2pm), starting and finishing at the Eco Lodges, and is led by a subject expert. The themes are: Medicinal & Edible Plants (19th August), Geology (26th August) & Foraging – with an introduction to preserve making (16th September).
The Foraging walk is followed by a 2 hour session at The Eco Lodges where our local Dragon’s Kitchen expert will show you how to turn your hedgerow finds into jams, gins and chutneys. Recipe cards will be available to take home. THIS IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
Dogs are welcome and the walks are not strenuous, please wear appropriate footwear for walking through woods, fields and uneven surfaces.
Places are £3 per person for all 2 hour walks and £9 for the foraging walk and lesson. P
